With a wide door opening for easy, step-in patient access, the 3D Extremity Cone Beam CT is perfect for performing upper and lower extremity 3D exams, including weight-bearing. The high-resolution imagines can help reveal subtle or occult fractures while reducing dose compared to conventional CT systems. A small footprint and simplified design also make it easy to use and require less space in your facility than a conventional CT system and gives you the ability to keep imaging service and potential revenue in-house as opposed to an outside CT system. This system’s advanced technology also includes advanced metal and scatter correction programs and reduced noise via algorithmic iterative reconstruction techniques.
